This year’s auction will feature 405 participants, compared to the initial 991 players. There are 273 Indians and 132 other players, as well as four associate countries. There are 119 uncapped cricketers and 296 capped cricketers.
Each franchise used some of its salary caps to retain players. On November 15, the teams revealed the next season’s retained player. They will look to fill the vacant spots in the eagerly anticipated auction.
